So everyones getting a my-space but I don't believe I need one seeing as I only update this about once every 6 months.  Theres so much more to write about that way that its hard to know where to start!

Not that hard actually~cOlLeGe!  I don't want to go to Baylor anymore but I've been accepted to there, ut, unt, and ou (i decided against eastman seeing as I decided ON it after the application deadline...)  As of the past few months I want to go to UT bc the flute teacher is amazing!! (she played w/ the Boston Pops for a while and played in Schindlers List and Saving Private Ryan just to name a few) Wouldn't that be such a fun job~playing for movies! I'm not quite sure what I want to do yet~performance or education, but I might start out just doing both.  Everyone in the performance world kind of hates everyone else though and wishes they would pretty much die so that some orchestra chair somewhere would be free and 500 people could audition for it....I just don't know if I'm all to crazy about that atmosphere.  Opera would be better than orchestra it seems~my teacher plays in the DO.  Who knows~elementary music even sounds fun.  So anyways, UT is the next step for me, assuming the amazing lady wants me for who knows what reason! lol

I'm kind of sick.  I hope its just a few days thing b/c febuary is so busy~ tmea, college auditions, scholarship applications and millions of essays, etc...after febuary I can get sick but I'll load up on the vitamin C til then haha.  I hope everyone else is well, or getting better anyways b/c it seems like everyones sick right now!

Things I would do today if I had a bit more time and money: Speed Zone, Chuck E. Chesse, air hockey, putt-putt, find and buy the perfect prom dress, find and swim in a heated pool, take a nap lol, and watch a stars game from the same great seats where I'll be watching the Tornadoes! haha

Wow~God is so amazing!! At times I know that the going gets hard and I understand doubts but other times I stand in awe at the people that just simply refuse to see whats so vividly right in front of them!!

Sunday I was so stressed out about college stuff (more than normal that is...); it was basically an emotional breakdown! But that night I just got on my knees and prayed for things to become clear to me and that God would just reveal to me, plain and simple, what He wanted for my life.
And no joke, the very next day I talked to a trusted adult about it and I got bombarded with positive things about Baylor and negative aspects of the other school I was very seriously beginning to consider. Then I found out another aspect of the school that sealed my mind against it and I just knew that tHiS was the definately the clarity I'd prayed for. Furthermore, I got home and my mom had, on her own, talked to my band director who had talked to the Baylor band director about serious scholarships for me the same exact HOUR I was talking with the other person! oh my goodness, it was so amazing and now I am at peace about everything. I'm sure I'll have doubts before next September but I want to go to Baylor and room with Katie! (Christmas decorations and Disney all year haha) I'll major in music ed and teach either elementary music (where kids don't know to not like it) or college flute(where the ones who hate it aren't in it anymore!).
And today I got the absolute most wonderful letter EVER from an amazing man that I've only before had the priveledge of hearing speak, reaffirming me in all of this so just in case I didn't get it the first time, God provided yet another blatently obvious clue into what I'm supposed to do and where He wants me to be!
Yay for positive and reaffirming days where you know all is right and are truely at peace!

I woke up earlier than I usually do for school days this morning and headed down to Waco, a suprisingly shorter drive than I remembered. Oh my goodness, I love Baylor! Everyone is so incredibly nice and really goes out of their way to talk to you and help you out. When we got there it was earlier than we planned and this guy gave us a personal tour of the campus in a van! I thought that was very nice of him; I could've thought of a million things to do besides helping visitors if I was him. Then I went to a psychology class of about 100ish people then I met with a bunch of people, my favorite being the elementary ed lady~that sounds like so much fun, I think I would really enjoy teaching little kids. (In 2nd grade I thought thats what I'd enjoy...I find that funny). Well, we ate in the cafeteria and visited dorms (and I've decided that is in fact not worth having your own bathroom in exchange for writing a thesis and being in the honors dowm...). My lesson after tha t went really well and once again, everyone was super nice. Overall, it was a wonderful day and I absolutely loved it! (Oh yeah, and I called chris to get stephen's # bc hes at baylor and when i called stephen he didnt answer so i was like 'oh well...' and then as im walking out of this building not 3 minutes later he walks in~what are the odds!!!???)
Anyways, gotta go get some sleep so I can wake up at about 4 and continue my college quest. (out to west TX...yay?)haha
Goodnight!
I hope everyone has a tremendous fall break.
